Mrs. Pat provides a wealth of services, at no additional cost, in addition to the basic private lesson time.

Teaching lesson

PRIVATE LESSONS

  • Provide private cello instruction in Washougal/Camas/ Vancouver WA

  • Lessons are one to two hours, once a week or once every other week (best for more advanced students)  

  • Lesson fees: $60 in my studio or $100 in your home Washougal to Vancouver (includes all other services provided, except for public performances with student)

CELLO SELECTION

  • Perform initial assessment of student’s cello

  • Help obtaining & maintaining instruments, including field trips to classical instrument shop

  • Reassess cello (quality, size) as student grows, physically & as a cellist

  • Provide recommendations on strings & other aspects of student’s cello

CUSTOM CURRICULUM

  • Suggest individually-appropriate cello etude practice books (e.g. Kummer, Popper)

  • Develop custom piano accompaniment practice pieces

  • Transpose cello literature for student performance use

  • Choose specific books for differing levels of student
